Exposure allegation

A MAN will appear before magistrates accused of exposing himself performing a sexual act in a subway.

Sam Willey, 20, of Ten Fields, in Hetton, has been charged with an act of outraging public decency.

It comes after police were called to the subway which connects Murray Library, in Chester Road to Sunderland city centre.

It was reported that a man had been exposing himself and was carrying out a sexual act on Friday at about 1.55am.

Willey is due to appear at Sunderland Magistrates’ Court on Monday, July 16.
