THE weather may not be too good, but there is still plenty of racing for members of the Sunderland Echo Racing Club to enjoy over the next week.

Members can have a great night at Sunderland Greyhound Stadium tonight – and it will not cost them a penny for entry. The track will admit all members on production of their membership card and the voucher below.

There are three horse racing meetings for members next week, though, and all at a discount.

Redcar race on Monday and will knock £ 3 off their normal price for members.

There are seven races throughout the afternoon with the first, a six- furlong maiden fillies’ stakes, scheduled to start at 1.10pm.

The last is off at 4.10 and is also over six furlongs but is an apprentice handicap for older horses.

Catterick will knock £ 2 off their normal entry price for entry to their meeting on Tuesday.

The first race will be at 1.50pm and is a six- furlong maiden for juveniles, with the last, a fivefurlong handicap, at 4.20. There are only six races, but there is some decent action throughout the afternoon.

Sedgefield race on Thursday and celebrate Halloween with their Spooky Special Raceday. The first of the seven races is off at 1pm and the last, a bumper, at 4pm.

This raceday will be packed full of family fun to include Halloween fancy dress for adults and children, a Punch and Judy show, balloon modelling, children’s disco, children’s playground and children’s arts and crafts.

As with all the discounts, the vouchers below must be accompanied by a membership card.
