However, the all- weather surface certainly seems to suit and he picked up a share of the prize- money when contesting a decent stayers’ event at this track at the end of March and should be in the mix again, particularly with Moore offering his assistance.

He was far from disgraced on his return at Bath, lining up on very firm ground on the back of a seven- month absence.
His preferred front- running tactics did not pay off that day as he perhaps lacked a little of the necessary fitness to do it from the front, but he should be sharper for the outing and looks a leading player for Andrew Balding.
