Dean catches the ear of top talent scout

The first single from Truth, Fine Tomorrow, went straight into the top 10 downloaded tracks by radio stations in the USA and Global Entertainment and Media has submitted Dean and Truth for consideration for next year’s Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
Dean James and the Black Dogs will be launching Truth at the Cluny, Newcastle, on Friday, September 28, for which GEM Records UK producer Geoff Wilbourn is flying in from the USA to join in the celebrations.

The Harbour View Speakeasy runs every Thursday at the Harbour View pub in Roker, from 8.30pm. It features regular performances from founders George Shovlin and George Lamb, as well as guest performers.
Forthcoming highlights include performances from Jim Murray and Rob Mason, who are well-known on the North East blues scene, on September 20, and Don Meah and Jimmy Smith on September 27.
