Simpson Group helps charities fund-raise with Panache

-

Washington point of sale printer Simpson Group has pledged its support to a North East charity.

The commercial printing firm chose to work with the Panache Group after employee Carole Cavanagh began to suffer with alopecia and became a member of the charity.

Based in Sunderland, Panache aims to raise awareness and support women, men and children who suffer with hair loss.

So far, Simpson Group has supported the charity by providing printed materials, including tickets and life-size cardboard cut-outs of showgirls, for Panache Group’s Bon Bar Charity Event, as well as donating an additional £500 to the charity with an ongoing partnership for printed materials.

The event also featured in Simpson Group’s The Mall magazine, which goes out to clients and prospects, further raising awareness of the charity’s work.

Carole is thrilled that Simpson Group are able to supports one of the region’s lesser-known charities.

“We are thrilled with the money raised through the recent event and the ongoing support from Simpson Group,” she said.

“It all helps in our bid to work towards our vision of opening up a hub here in the North East that helps women, men and children around the area.”

Simpson Group often nominates charities each year which have directly affected the lives of staff.

Managing Director Dean Williams said: “We’ve supported numerous charities over the years and when an employee puts forward a charity that’s personal to them, like Panache Group, then all the better as we can see first-hand the effects.

Contributions have included printed materials for Great North Air Ambulance and Alzheimer’s Society balls and leaflets and postcards sent to celebrity sponsors for Together For Short Lives.
