Forj jing ahead with a new online brand
A County Durham metalwork firm has set out ambitious expansion plans.
Family-run architectural metalwork company Steelcraft Ltd’s new online brand, Forjj, will be able to supply products manufactured at its Chester-le-Street site throughout the UK and Europe.
The move is expected to increase turnover by five per cent in the first year, equivalent to about £90,000.
Managing Director Matthew Rodgers said: “It’s great for us to have found a way to sell outside of North East England without needing to establish a physical office in another region.
“This means future expansion of our manufacturing operations can stay in the North East and provide more jobs and supplier opportunities in the region.”
