Panto season isn’t over yet
Washington Theatre Group present The Elves and The Shoemaker at Arts Centre Washington from January 11 to 26.
It tells the story of Leo, a naughty Elf prince who’s been using magic for fun and frolics and has been sent to the land of men to learn to be kind.
When he gets there it’s the age old story; a pushy prince (and his long suffering valet and Nanny) bullying a poor shoemaker and kind and beautiful daughter Kate.
While Leo tries to rescue Kate, his elfish friends magic up some fabulous shoes.
Go along for the ride; there’s a cake to be decorated (no soggy bottoms here!), a daring rescue (well, an inept competition entry) and happy (if slightly damp) ending.
