The Irish boy band, who have sold millions of albums around the world, are calling it a day, and their Thank You & Goodnight farewell tour calls at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle. The gig proved so popular sales-wise that they added an additional date at the arena on Wednesday, February 13.
Bristol’s Heavy Lungs supported Idles, one of 2018’s biggest breakthrough bands, on tour last year. Now they’ve got their own headline shows, including one at Think Tank Underground in Newcastle.
Mason started his music career as lead singer and one of the founding members of cult Scottish group The Beta Band. He plies his trade solo nowadays, and brings his tour to Riverside in Newcastle.
