Ride raises £10,000 for good causes

Big-hearted fundraisers from The Chesters Charity in Sunderland held a presentation evening to hand over the cash they raised during a one-day bike ride to York, which took place last year.

The group of 17 riders and seven back-up members, all friends from The Chesters pub, managed to raise £10,000 through the sponsored event.

The proceeds from the event were shared between Sunningdale School, which caters for pupils with special needs, and the Sunderland Larengectomy Group.
