The next generation developmen­t centre coaching sessions and competitiv­e matches will take place every Monday at Hylton Castle Primary School. Sessions for ages four to seven take place from 6pm to 7 pm and ages eight to 11 from 7pm to 8pm. The sessions will be great fun for all ages and cost £3. The coaches are Cameron Thompson and South Shields star Dillon Morse. There is not need to book. Hylton Castle Primary School has a multi-use games area available to hire at £25 per hour. Sunderland North Community Business Centre is a food bank referral organisati­on, which means it is able to assist local people who are suffering any kind of hardship and are needing food for themselves and their families. If you need any assistance, you can contact a member of the staff team, who can help with completing the relevant form and refer you to the nearest food bank available. A coffee afternoon aimed at the over 50s is held every Monday at Hylton Castle club from 1pm to 3pm and every Wednesday from 1pm to 3pm at St Bedes Town End Farm. All are welcome. A toddler group meets every Tuesday from 1pm to 3pm at Castletown Community Centre. Everyone welcome. Lend a hand and help get Hylton Castle and the Dene spruced up and ready for spring with the Big Spring Clean. In associatio­n with Castle Ward Raising Aspiration­s, Hylton Castle Project will be hosting a series of litter picks throughout this month and April.
