Sgt George Wilfred Laybourn killed, October 18, 1943, in Lancaster Bomber EM-L over Hanover, Germany.

I am trying to locate any relatives of George Wilfred Laybourn who died in 1943, in a bombing raid to Germany.

As a result of intensive research the crash landing site and the actual graves of Sgt Laybourn and the crew have now been located in Hanover.

It is hoped to now rededicate the graves by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) with the correct names of the crew.Could any remaining relatives of George please contact me by email at ash. gen@tiscali.co.uk when I could expand on the information that has been found. leave the EU without a deal, perhaps a few pertinent facts may cool the temperature.

Yes there may well be initial problems, but who will suffer most? While Britain may have less choice, what will suppliers do with their produce?

The traffic delays on the EU side of the channel will be twice as long as on our side because they export much more to us than we do to them, and if food goes off due to delays any losses will be borne by the supplier not the customer.

No-deal is not all bad because a new deal will then have to be negotiated from scratch where neither side has an advantage.

At the moment the EU has the upper hand during any transition period because we can't escape its clutches until a trade deal is agreed. Scott Andrews
