As Hollywood awards season gets underway, are you more likely to go to the cinema if a film wins a number of awards?

Brian Bell: If it appeals to me I'll go and see it, getting awards is just proven it's as good as it looks.But wouldn't go just because it's won awards.

John Welsh: Not any more. Winning films these days must have been suitably adjusted for 'equality and diversity' which usually, though not inevitably, means that they have had all the artistic/entertainm­ent merit also 'adjusted' out of them.

Chris Hall: Customers are rude and obnoxious and think these badly paid, worked to the bone people should smile at them despite been shouted at from a mistake or something completely out of their control. And then there’s the kids who treat everywhere like a giant play area.
