Energy firms join forces and aim to forge ahead
Pacifica Home Services has completed the acquisition of Oakes Energy Services, with the aim of supporting its growing presence in the renewable energy solutions market.
Oakes Energy Services provides a range of energy efficiency services to commercial and domestic applications, which includes designing and installing renewable energy systems to reduce energy consumption and bills.
It was established in 2007 by former professional rugby player, Jason Oakes, who played for the Newcastle Falcons, and experienced industry professional Derek Dowson.
The acquisition follows a successful partnership between the two Houghtonbased companies, which began in 2018, and has supported expansion into markets such as social housing.
Oakes Energy Services will be fully integrated into Pacifica Home Services to provide its solutions, such as air and ground source heating, solar PV and mine water heat extraction, to a wider UK customer base.
Jason and Derek, along with the entire Oakes Energy Services’ workforce, will remain with the business to support the continued growth of its operations.
Pacifica Home Services delivers specialist domestic energy services for heating, plumbing, renewables and insulation.
