Andrew Hornsby Stephen Elliott as a professional driver, I’m on the M1, M4, M42 and M25 on a daily basis, and I have witnessed numerous times the problems these smart motorways cause.

Marie Kennedy: My son isn’t allergic but is food sensitive so he’s always been on pack lunch, the school can’t cater to every single kids dietary needs, it’s stupid to even think that.

Margaret Francis: This is the responsibility of the parents not the overworked teachers. The parents need to get out of bed a bit earlier to put a packed lunch up for their children. This situation would not then happen.

McLaughlin: I couldn't eat a jacket potato every day so wouldn't expect a kid to do it, however I would have supplied a packed lunch instead of expecting the school to sort everything. Can't complain if you can't be bothered to help the situation yourself.

Laura Merrison: What if the parent would like their child to have a hot meal instead of packed lunches? What if the parent gets free school meals and can’t afford to send a packed lunch every day? The school should definitely be catering for allergies and there are many schools that do so no reason why this one can’t.

Eileen Joyce: It’s the parents job to make sure their children have their lunch if they have allergies not the schools.

Helen Leary: I agree the school should cater to their needs, however if your child is that upset why not provide a packed lunch until the issue is resolved?

Kayleigh Thomson: Send a pack lunch in instead if you are that unhappy with the food school providing, I'd have done that by now.

Angela Mchugh: I’d be giving mine pack lunches not wasting my money on baked potatoes everyday then raise the issue with the school governors.

Aoife Rose: Send in a packed lunch until the menu is sorted, not rocket science.
