Two goals in each half led Chilton WMC to a 4-0 victory at Ferryhill Celtic. Goals came from Brian Brown, Kevin Harnett and brace from Joe Cornbill.

Newton Aycliffe Iron Horse stunned leaders Brandon Sports 2-1.

Kieran Megran and Chase McMullen put Horse in control and although Liam Graham replied two minutes from time but it was too little, too late.

Ouston Juniors fought back from 3-1 down to beat visitors Kirk Merrington Half Moon 7-3 in the second round of the League Challenge Cup, sponsored by JD Taxis.

Ouston took the lead on five minutes through Luke Kerry but a double from Dave Whitehead and Lee Hutchinson’s strike put Moon 3-1 ahead. Ryan Bell pulled one back before the break, James Laidler levelled and man of the match Bell netted two more before Kaleb Young grabbed a seventh.

West Rainton beat Coxhoe Red Lion 3-1 in their round three tie.

Matt Jackson grabbed the winner for Bede Lodge Social in a 4-3 victory over Bowburn in the first round of the League Knockout Cup, sponsored by D&P Trophies.

Dan Mann and Dave Latham gave Bede the lead but Bowburn replied with first-half goals from Joe Wilson and Zack Pearn. Dylan Smith’s third for Bede was cancelled out but Jackson pounced to win it.

Sherburn Village FC won 4-3 at Sunderland SR Dons in their Durham FA Champions League group game. Max Stoker, Geoff Arnott, Lee Henderson and Alan Chester gave Sherburn the edge.

In the Durham FA quarter-final, Ferryhill Dynamoes won 4-1 at home to Sunderland Port of Call and will now visit Hartlepool Throston Wanderers in the last four.
