Awards for mortgage firm duo

-

Two mortgage advisers from a Washington company have been named as among the best in the UK.

Daniel Field and Daniel Johnson, from The Mortgage Dog, have been listed among the country’s top 250 financial advisers, which is based on ratings from customers.

The accolade is given to advisers who are awarded more than four out of five stars for their service by independent ratings website vouchedfor. co.uk.

The firm is base in Spout Lane, Washington.

It aims to provide a “personal approach” – finding a suitable mortgage, explaining monthly cost and a checklist for customers to help make your move go smoothly.

Company founder, Daniel Field, said: “I am absolutely delighted that both Daniel and I have been named in The Times’ Top 250 UK Mortgage Advisers listing.

“The Mortgage Dog is one of very few practises that has more than one top-rated adviser.

“I congratulate Daniel who joined us last year for his achievements. He shares my ethos in putting our clients first and helping them through the process to take some of the strain out of buying a home.”

Daniel set up The Mortgage Dog just over three years ago in Washington.

Last year, he moved to its new premises in the centre of the village and then took on Daniel as part of a strategy to grow the business.

He said: “It’s an exciting time for The Mortgage Dog.

“Daniel joined me last year and has been a real asset as we look to meet the needs of house buyers from across the North East.”
