Ticket office & Black Cats store revise open hours
Sunderland AFC has revised its opening hours for the club’s ticket office and store and suspended stadium tours amid the coronavirus pandemic, it has been announced.
All football has been suspended in this country until April 30, the FA has announced, an extension on the original date of April 3.
And Sunderland AFC has revealed new measures it is taking following the coronavirusoutbreak,whichisaffecting all walks of life around the world.
The club says their ‘primary concern remains the safety and wellbeing of its supporters, staff and players’.
Aclubstatementread:“Following the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, Sunderland AFC continues to monitor and implement the latest advice of the government and the EFL.
“SAFC’s primary concern remains the safety and wellbeing of its supporters, staff and players,withfurthermeasures settobeintroducedtohelppreventthespreadofthevirusand protect all associated with the club.
“FromFriday20March,the StadiumofLightboxofficeand store will be operating under revised opening hours, details as follows: Monday-Friday: 10am ‘til 2pm, Saturday-Sunday: Closed.
“However, supporters are urged to ‘go digital’ where possible: Online ticketing and Online store
“Stadium tours have also been suspended with immediate effect, and anyone with an existing booking will be contacted by the club in due course.
“In line with government advice, proactive changes to day-to-day operations at the Academy of Light have also been implemented.”
