We must live to fight on

-

When the pain of living becomes too much And despair is just the norm When the locust chewing on a leaf Becomes the roaring raging swarm. When the tears that were so rarely seen Are now an expected daily flow When all dreadful thoughts inside your head Begin so rapidly to grow. When all those who you thought were friends Appear to turn their back When the sky that always had been blue Has turned a musky black. When those principles you thought were right Are now obviously so wrong When those you've been in harmony with All now sing another song. When your life seems sad and pointless When each day becomes a dread When you think about things you've preached You now wish you hadn't said. When you can no longer even respect yourself When your own company's a bore When just rising from your bed every morning

“In times of difficulty we need access to information.”

Seems a pointless and heavy chore. When every year as your birthday's due You pray this one's the last When you scream " that's it "I've had enough And run the white flag up the mast. It's time for you to change your life You must change it all around Pick up that phone contact old friends Reach out for newer ground. This life's the only one you'll have It's there for you to cherish If your heart and mind are allowed to wither Then you are sure to perish. So when the end of your tether appears And you can see no other way Just relax, breath deeply soldier on Live to fight another day.
