Skyward all set to jet home at Lyon-Parilly

Skyward promises to be the class act on show at Lyon-Parilly tomorrow when he lines up for the Prix Bedel.

Unraced as a two-year-old, the Fabrice Chappet-trained four-year-old made great strideslastseason,winninghis first two starts, both at Deauville over nine furlongs on the all-weather.

Chappet then stepped his Camelot colt up to a mile and a half for a Listed race at SaintCloud

Graffard, the Wootton Bassett gelding stayed on strongly to land his penultimateoutingandwasarunaway winner when last time seen in November.

He fared better returned to turf at Compiegne in March, finishing second to a stablemate before racing was brought to a halt and he certainly looks capable of getting his head in front.

Sassandra has placed on each of her three starts to date and can register her maiden win in the Prix Desir de Mai.

Third on her initial outing at Tarbes in October, she has since finished second twice at Toulouse, most recently at the beginning of March.

She was keeping on late in the day on that occasion and might feel the benefit of this slightly longer trip. Parousia found Listed company beyond heronherfinaloutinglastyear, but should be more at home back at a lower level.
