Faint whiff of hypocricy!

- Tom Brown, Sunderland

Ever since Let’s Talk correspondent GedTaylor’s life time hero Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour Party were thrashed at the last General Election, he has turned his usually bitter rants towards Boris Johnson and the Government, it just stinks of sour grapes.

We all know Dominic Cummings and probably along with thousands of others broke the lock down rules, Durham Police called it a minor offence not a hanging offence. What Mr Taylor omitted from his smelly rant, was that the retired teacher Robert Lees who informed the Daily Mirror and Daily Mail that he had sighted Mr Cummings in Barnard Castle, had himself driven to the south of England to collect his daughter from her boyfriend’s home during the lock down, how’s that for hypocrisy Mr Taylor !! The other supposed sighting of Mr Cummings by Tim Mathews turned out to be a pack of lies, Mathews admitted this to the Police and was cautioned for wasting Police time. The biggest act of sheer hypocrisy was when Sir Keir Starmer called for Mr Cummings to be sacked for breaking lock down rules, whilst 3 of his own Labour MP’s were doing likewise. Stephen Kinnock MP did around the same journey as Mr Cummings to deliver a birthday card and to sing “Happy Birthday “to his dad Neil, hypocrisy here Mr Starmer ?? Rosie Duffield MP and her lover broke the rules by visiting each other several times because she felt lonely, sad but thousands of others were in the same boat, hypocrite. Then we had Barry Gardiner MP, the same man who put up for the Labour Leadership took to the streets to march with the BLM protesters, breaking all lock down and social distancing rules, what an idiot. Is Sir Stay Karmer going to practice what he preaches and sack this bunch of defiant Labour hypocrites, don’t hold your breadth, embarrassing hypocrisy once again. So Mr Taylor if all this stinks to you, I would suggest you take a long walk around Barnes Park and keeping to social distancing rules at all times of course.
