Changes to line-ups for Ryhope and Harbour

-

Seaham Harbour host Ryhope in their Frank Lees Cup Group A match this weekend.

Seaham captain Stewart Pattison said: “Regan Pattison misses out due to holidays and Niall Crosby drops down to the second team. Fifteenyear-old Logan Gustard stepsup with Henry Sennett after his impressive four wicket haul last weekend.”

Ryhope chairman Ian Lawrence said: “We have one change as Luke Anderson is unavailable and his place is filled by last year's skipper Paul Jenkin, who was unavailable last week owing to work commitments.”

Bill Quay host Dawdon Welfare and captain Chris Little said: “One change for us this week with James Hudson returning. We will be hoping to bat a lot better than we did against Hylton last week, where we were bowled out softly for 73. The bowlers did brilliantly to almost defend that total, but we left them too much to do; and the batsmen will have to be better this week.”

South Shields welcome Silksworth and captain Anth Marshall said: “We are looking to continue the good form shown in the victory against Ryhope, in the first game of the season. We are unchanged from last week.”

Silksworth captain Andy Barrass said: “We’re unfortunately missing Ben Lobban and possibly wicket keeper Mark Barrass for the trip.

"We do hope to welcome back Adam Fairley into the team though. We’re just hoping to build on a very pleasing performance last week, but we know it’ll be another tough game.“

In the other two group games, Boldon take on Seaham Park and Hylton entertain Marsden.
