The Government has signed a deal for 60 million doses of potential coronavirus vaccine.

Karen Dawson: I’ll be first in the queue as will the rest of my family. These anti vaxxers are absolutely nuts.

Steph Todd: Surprise, surprise, they will force this vaccine like they have had planned from day 1. Because flu vaccines prevent flu...not. Where there is a risk there should be a choice. They won't allow travel until we take it. They’ll prevent kids going to school and people going to work. Not a chance in hell would I take this. Disgraceful.

Andrew Grey: Steph Todd, it’s personal preference, good on you if you don’t want one but one is needed for the vulnerable, there’s folks who ain’t been out for twenty weeks, who have done that because they want to see their family again.

Tony Isles: Without a vaccine the world will never get back to normal. We will regard our fellow human as a potential giver of covid, walk on eggshells and have the media scaremongering for the rest of of our lives. Flu vaccine does work, well it has for me.

Karen Johnson: Flu vaccines were not meant to prevent flu, but to lessen the effects so as not to lead to hospitalisation.

Angie Hammond: Why are people so angry, surely its a personal choice, to have the vaccine or not.

Andrew Penman: Fingers crossed that the vaccine works. It would be great to get things back to normal.

Dave Carlyle: If the government think it’s a good idea I’ll pass thanks.

Ian Mcdonald: Can’t find a vaccine for the common cold so what chance have they of sorting one for this. Laura Jenkinson: I definitely don’t want! Trish Render Laverick: How can they make a vaccine when the virus has not been isolated yet?

Marc Nixon: That vaccine for 80% of the UK, no thanks.
