Fiasco over face masks

-

So the prime minister, who has just celebrated his first year in the job, has admitted in a national newspaper that he didn't understand the virus in the way he would have liked in the first weeks and months of this pandemic.

Can someone enlighten me here, if he never understood what was going on with the virus why then did he refuse to attend any of the first five COBRA meetings, eight conference calls with EU leaders, and when SAGE advised him to lockdown, he chose to ignore this advice and encourage people to go to Cheltenham?

Can someone tell me what sort of man does that make him?

Tens of thousands of people have died in this pandemic yet he brags about what a great job he is doing.

He continues to deceive, not just about the unnecessary deaths, but how many tests that are being carried out, the shortage of PPE equipment, and the world class track and trace process being ready to go.

He's even changed the date he said his government went into lockdown.

Now he's back to the face mask fiasco.

For months the government have changed their position; on off, on off, more than six times they have changed advice, none of it scientific; it's becoming embarrassing.

So when he finally did announce it would be mandatory, he still said it would be in two weeks time.

Now, to put the icing on the cake Boris Johnson and his minister for transport Grant Shapps, has ordered anyone arriving from Spain go into quarantine for 14 day, at the same time Shapps was on holiday there, you really couldn't make this up. Ged Taylor, Barnes.
