Jordan’s family thank medics
for his funeral.
He leaves parents Andy andTracy,sisterSarah,grandmother Jean, and was the grandson of late grandparents Ron, Pat and Sylvia.
Ahead of the service, his family said: “He was loved by everyone he met and was very wellthoughtofbyhisemployer and work colleagues.
"Wewouldliketothankthe emergency services involved.
"TheteamsintheRoyalVictoriaInfirmarywereabsolutelyamazingandcompassionate.
“We have been supported by countless agencies and friends and family.
"They have all been amazing.”
A GoFundMe page first set up to support Jordan in the wake of the suspected attack and then to help Jordan’s familyhasraisedmorethan£1,000 and has now closed.
The page, launched by Jordan’s workmates, said he was
“a lovely quiet man" and added they had been devastated by his death, adding: “Our love thoughts and prayers go out to his loving family at this sad time.”
Dominic Robson, 26, of Birchwood in South Hylton, has been charged with manslaughter.
He was released on conditional bail, which includes residing at his home address, a 7pm to 7am curfew and not to contact prosecution witnesses, after his first appearance to face the charge on Monday, July27,atSouthTynesideMagistrates’ Court.
He is due to appear before Newcastle Crown Court on Monday, August 24.
