The following cases from the Sunderland area have been dealt with at South Tyneside Magistrate­s’ Court:

Connor McCulloch, 22, o f H a l s t e a d S qu a re, S u n - derland, was fined £213 and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge and £85 prosecut i o n c o s t s a f te r ad m i tt i n g u s i n g th reate n i n g o r abu - sive words or behaviour on August 1.

T h o m a s Ke nt W i l l i a m Robson, 24, of Raby Drive, Sunderland, was fined £80 and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs after admitting using threatenin­g or abusive words or behaviour on August 1.

Terrence Johnston, 39, of Moorsley Road, Hetton, was fined £40 after admitting breaching a community order on August 3.

David Anthony Maughan, 38, of Bailey Rise, Peterlee, received six penalty points on his driving licence, was fined £500 and ordered to pay a £50 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

H e a d m i tt e d f a i l i n g t o disclose informatio­n leading to the identity of a driver suspected of committing an offence on October 30 last year.

Gemma Elizabeth Smart, 36, of Aboyne Square, Sunderland, received six pena l ty p o i nt s o n h e r d r iv i n g licence, was fined £40 and ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge and £85 costs by the court.

She admitted speeding on the A690 at Houghton on August 19 last year.

Jack Fleury, 20, of Watford Close, Sunderland, was banned from driving for 18 months, fined £120 and ord e re d to pay a £ 3 4 v i c t i m surcharge and £85 costs after admitting drink-driving and driving without insurance on August 3.
