Pool defeat Marske to remain in title hunt

The Seasiders made 141 all out with Tom Hewison top scoring with 51.
Neil Whitworth claimed an excellent 5-46 and James Lowe chipped in with 3-24.
Pools then had Paul Braithwaite (57) and Neil Whitworth (48no) to thank as they saw their team up to a final total of 144-3.
They are now just nine points behind leaders Richmondshire.
Seaton Carew remain in fourth place in Division One despite going down heavily to Stockton at Hornby Park.

In reply Seaton started poorly and, although Jack Stonehouse made 33, they were all out for 128.
Richard Waite claimed 4-9 and Leigh Beaumont 3-19 with the ball.
Easington signed off their Durham Cricket League season on a winning note.
They had to win to stand a chance of making progress to the latter stages of the competition. But they were also relying on clubs above them losing and that failed to materialise so they eventually finished fourth in the group with 19 points.
Easington fired 281-5 at the Welfare Grounds, including a superb 103 from Jonathan Davis and 70 from Moses. The visitors scored 153-9 in reply with Omar Shahid claiming 2-8 and Ulph Faisal 3-20.
