Moon shines in thumping victory over rival Parker

Paul Moon celebrated a decisive win in the first game of this week’s Golden Fleece Premier Darts League fixtures.

Moon cruised to a 5-0 triumph over Eric Parker with legs in 19 and 20 darts.

There was nothing to separate Charlie Thompson and Gary Richardson who shared the spoils in their draw.

There was another stalemate in the clash between Dan Smith and Jackie Moon.

Jaxon Douglass staged a stirring fightback, recovering from 4-1 down to earn a draw with Pete Wilson.

He may have lost the first leg but there was no stopping G l e n n Wo o d b r i d g e f r o m that point on, chalking-off the next five to defeat Eddie Bland.

Woo d b r id ge’s b e s t l eg s came in 18 and 19 darts.

In-form player Micky Seaman continued his winning start to the season with a convincing 5-1 triumph over Denny Cullen with legs in 19, 20 and 21 darts.

The score was replicated when Steve Richardson sawoff the challenge of Davy Marley in another 5-1 success.

R i c h a rd s o n’s b e s t l e g s were rattled-off in 16, 19 and 21 darts.

Pau l M o o n p rove d t o o strong for Darren Parker in his 5-2 victory and Danny Cullen eased to success with a 5-1 win over Ian Donkin.

Both players hit 180s when Micky S eaman beat Colin Brown 5-2 with legs in 17 and 20 darts.

The last game of the night saw Mark Reeves vanquish Steve Richardson 5-2. Reeves recorded two legs of 17 darts, a 19 and 20 while Richardson registered two of 17 and a 19.
