Slimming World looking for recruits
New re c r u i t s a re b e i n g sought to help people lose weight.
S l i m m i n g Wo rl d h a s launched a campaign to recruit consultants with a passion for helping others.
They are holding a careers Opportunity Event, planned at the Emirates Cricket Ground, Chester-le-Street, on Sunday, October 25, at 10am.
J u l i e M u l va - ney, who manages a team of nine Consu l ta nt s wh o r u n 1 6 S l i m m i n g Wo rl d groups in Sunderland East, said: “We’re going through a period of steady growth.
“Now, with obesity at an all-time high – two out of three adults in the UK are overweight or obese – the demand for our friendly approach has never been greater.
“Every Consultant who comes on board goes through an in-depth training prog ramme and is awarded diplomas in nutrition and the psychology of weight management, as well as successfully running their own slimming business.”
Slimming World is looking for people who have lost weight themselves with the organisation and people who can share their ow n we i g ht- l o s s success.
"There are also vacancies for experienced managers to help co-ordinate the work in the area.
The role of a consultant is part-time, with the potential to earn £100 to £400 a week, working 10 to 20 flexible hours as a self-employed franchisee. In-depth training is offered.
