Do you think there should be a national lockdown before Christmas?

Jeff Storey: if you live on your own lockdown itself can be as dangerous as the virus, loneliness every day eventually the Mental Health suffers, you Eat and Drink too much and see no end in sight, alright pampered toffs telling us to show fortitude and tough it out, they never want for anything xx

Freda Lowden: Yes the last locked down was lot better but at present some places are free for all social distance means nothing to some people ok have hand sanitizer I have watched people by pass this lot of people who are not wearing face masks to many still dying sad for all these families

Wayne Mould:

Yes for sure its needed only way to control the numbers and save lives once hospitals start canceling treatments for cancer and stuff ppl start losing their lives.

Graham Breeze: If there is going to be a lockdown make it fair and lockdown the whole country like France

Phill Tee: It’s inevitable as cases are through the roof and the hospitals are becoming overwhelmed. The madness is we will end up locked down for longer and there will be more deaths than if we had a circuit breaker when the scientists said to do it.....They never learn.

Maureen Richardson: No, those who think they are fit and Covid doesn’t affect them too badly need to use common sense and maybe we won’t see huge increases and sadly deaths. Maybe then we can reduce the spread rather than lock the vulnerable up!

Timmy Leech: In truth lockdown tier 1 to 3 or full lockdown it might slow some what but the only answer is a vaccine

Tim Spoors: Why we had a 15 week lockdown from March and obviously that didn't work as the virus is still here. All another lockdown will achieve is to bring the numbers down until we mingle again , then what do we do?

Graeme Collinson:

Never gonna happen. The economy comes before lives. Don't kid yourselves into thinking this is going to happen ..it’s not. The hoi polloi will still be expected to work in non essential jobs just to keep those with money, in money .
