- LEE BURGE

Had little to do but produced in the big moment. It was a poor penalty from Graham, but Burge’s save would prove to be crucial. 7

Didn’t have too many opportunities to get forward but got through his defensive work well. Looks a better fit on the right of the back three. 6

A crucial presence at the heart of defence, winning countless headers and duels. Gillingham bombarded the box from set-plays. 7

By and large played well, but was fortunate that his slack pass and foul for the Gillingham penalty did not cost his team. Brought the ball out from the back well. 5

Saw a good header ruled out for office, and defender resolutely throughout the contest. Looked at ease back in his wing-back slot. 7

Little time or space to play those passes he is capable of. The atrocious conditions demanded an altogether more disciplined showing and he did the basics well. 6

Took his goal well, and covered a huge amount of distance without having much space to show his best qualities. 6

Delivered some good set pieces, played with real energy, and got himself into some fantastic positions inside the box. Will be left wondering how he didn’t score, turning two chances over. 5

DENVER HUME

Looked a little uncertain defensively in the early stages but grew into the contest and played his part in the clean sheet. 6

Battled well but missed his big moment turning a low cross wide of the post. 5

Won the penalty and that was due reward for a real, battling display. Some good touches and brought others into play well in testing conditions. 7
