Two early defensive errors by Willow Pond helped Walkergate to a 5-0 win.

Tony Robson got the first goal on two minutes when he fired home from the edge of the area then Neil Bowater got the second on 10 minutes, giving Willow keeper and man of the match Andy Tilbury no chance.

W i l l ow h ad go o d p o s - session but weren't creating many clear cut chances, but Ralph Dodd’s strike was saved by Walkergate keeper Andy Gosling.

From the resultant corn e r, W i l l o w c e n t r e h a l f Andy Norman's bullet header was cleared off the line.

In the second half a Walkergate counter saw Pond’s Norman foul Robson in the box, Carlton stepped up to s tr i ke th e p e n a l ty but Tilbury saved it at full stretch. The referee penalised Tilbury for coming off his line early and the penalty was re-taken, only for it to again be saved by Tilbury.

However, another error

from Pond in their box was then capitalised on by the pace of Robson who then went on to beat Tilbury to make it 3-0.

Goals from Carlton and star man Lynch, his powerful shot from outside box wrapping up a fine performance to seal the points and take Walkergate to joint top in Division Four.
