Wide world of opportunities

-

As a local Conservative I have been a strident supporter of the Brexit movement since its inception, way back before the referendum when the people of the UK voted out!

It was Boris who banged the drum of freedom, supported by that terrier of a man

Nigel Farage, who zoomed into the fray pointing out all the regulations and burdens that a continued

membership of the EU would reduce this great country of ours into a third class insignificant has-been.

Now we have a Conservative government that is going to lead us into the wide, wide world of opportunities, away from the stifling embrace of Europe.

It is now up to Scotland to give up the idea of gaining independence and joining the EU.

This great country of ours achieved our status with the loyalty of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland; a combination that has stood us in great stead ever since the union of the crowns.

By staying together we will achieve great things for us all.
