GP surgeries have had to push back vaccinatio­n dates once again after their expected delivery of Covid-19 jabs was delayed.

Sarah Cook: Vac teams are made up of staff from Gp surgeries and primary care.

Joan Avery: The prime minister should have gone hard and fast in the beginning, it would not have cost the country so much and we wouldn’t be in this mess, he still isn’t doing lock down the right way.

John Henderson: Newcastle got the first Pfizer vaccine and now is the district centre for the Oxford vaccine. Meanwhile Sunderland lags behind yet again.

Tony Franklin: Sunderland has been giving out the Pfizer vaccines for a while now from various sites around Sunderland.

Wilf Newall: Nightingal­e Hospital in Sunderland seems like perfect place & central to start vaccinatio­ns, however, it’s being done at the Centre for Life in the middle of Newcastle.

Darren Stephenson: Well I am not surprised at all but London and the south will get theirs on time with no delays.

Jenifer Thompson: Large centres opening down south. North always last.

The millions of supplies (of vaccines) that were ordered, still have to be made. It’s only just been approved. Give the labs making it a chance.
