Neighbours celebrate grand win

Six neighbours in the same street are celebrating a lottery windfall each.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie M c C ou rt s e nt h e r b e s t wishes to the winners in Worm Hill Terrace, Washington, adding: “I hope you enjoy the winnings.”

The windfall follows a series of similar payouts in the Sunderland area during 2020.

A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and postcode lottery players have already raised more than £600 million for thousands of good causes.

This draw was promoted on behalf of the Postcode Green Trust.
