Your say on transport strategy

The deadline is looming for people to have their say on a £6.1bn transport plan for the North East.

The North East Transport Plan sets out hundreds of regional transport schemes and objectives up to 2035.

The draft strategy includes an initial £6.1bn worth of projects and covers the seven local authority areas – including Sunderland.

People are being urged to have their say before the consultation closes tomorrow.

Those wishing to take part can see details and fill in an online survey atwww. transport northeast. gov.uk/ transportplan.
