STORY: Do you think lockdown rules should be made toughter?

Rebecca Frost: Yes definitely. We can't go on as say tier 3 or even 2 forever. We need to get the numbers as low as possible and as quickly as possible to reduce the damage to the economy. The only way we are going to get back to any kind of normal is to get the numbers down. This is simply why I follow the rules, not really through fear of the virus itself but because I understand that the only way to make this better is to keep the numbers down.

Sandra Marshall: Doesn’t matter how strict the rules are, if you are the type of person who won’t follow them, it makes no difference what tier we are in.

Dorothy Clark: Only if enforcable otherwise as per nothing will change it'll be the same 1's.

Alex Harker: Parents need to be tougher with their teenagers, allowing them out to meet their mates then bringing the virus home, just keep them in.

Gemma Tiffin: What does tougher mean? We already can’t see family can’t socialise can’t go out eating and mingling can’t see elderly family can’t take kids to school can’t work? What would tougher mean? More suicide and mental health for the little freedom we have?

Colin Davison: No, the irresponsible people who break the rules now, would continue to break the stricter rules and the only ones effected would be us.

Paul Lynn: Only by introducing jail for those that don't comply it's essentially manslaughter not sticking to the rules as you’re indirectly killing someone.

Gary Duncan: It’s unbelievable that the British people are still tolerating a government with the worst covid record in Europe and one of the worst in the world.

Rob Victor Mcavoy:

No we need to get on in life as normal, we can’t live like this forever.

George Chisz Chisholm:

Tougher? I get up, go to work, come home, go shopping, have food and repeat, I’ve been doing it for years, what’s changed?
