Restival will feature workshops, yoga and panel discussions to help everyone get the better of ‘Blue Monday’

As if more lockdowns aren’t difficult enough, the year’s most downbeat day ‘Blue Monday’ approaches on January 18.

However, help is at hand this year thanks to The Little Surprises Company, hosting Restival 2021 two-day wellness festival, designed to deliver a little joy to your New Year.

Sunday January 17 and Monday January 18 sees Restival feature mix and match workshops and panel discussions across two days designed so there is something for everyone.

There are Sunday sessions for those working on Monday while there are also post-bedtime sessions for parents and panel discussions to play in the background. The Little Surprises Company founder Hannahbeth Clark said: “This will be a digital festival intended to make us feel healthier, happier and refreshed.

“With everything from reflexology and healthy cooking workshops to mandala drawing and writers’ salon, this is the perfect chance to learn something new, get creative and take some time out to look after yourself.

“Following a really tricky year for all of us, with so many of us spending the majority of our week at home, we wanted to plan something that people could look forward to in January.”

The line-up is as follows ... Sunday January 17: 10am - healthy breakfast; 11am pilates; 2pm - Vinyasa flow yoga; 3pm - Beautiful flowers; 4pm - Make your own breads; 5pm - ‘Good for you’ dinners; 7pm - Virtual spa.

Monday, January 18: 8am - Breathwork; 9am - The writer’s salon; 1pm - Sustainable lifestyle (panel talk); 2pm Boxing; 3pm - Revamp your wardrobe (panel talk); 4pm - Mindful mandala drawing; 7pm - An introduction to reflexology; 8pm - Yoga Nidra Early bird tickets cost from just £20 and you can add a sustainable self-care kit or a box of chocolate brownies to your ticket.

Organisers will be using Zoom for the festival while joining details will be sent to ticket holders two days before the event.
