To brighten up your urban walk, we’ve rounded up some of artist Frank Styles’ murals which are dotted around the city.
Frank created this piece as part of the campaign for Sunderland’s bid to be City of Culture 2021.
The Grafters Gables series adorns a number of gable ends in Hendon. This one in Villette Road relates to the visit of a French tightrope walker in 1861.

Not usually a beauty spot, but Frank has brightened up Barnes Subway with a series of animal murals.
Frank brightened up the East End for hundreds of thousands of visitors to the city as part of the Tall Ships Races 2018.
Last summer, a mural in honour of SAFC legend Bobby Gurney was unveiled by Frank at the Golden Fleece pub in New Silksworth.
