Too kind in his comments

-

Recently the Echo featured half a page and a colourful

photo of the Tory councillor Tony Mullin who was having a pop at the leader of Sunderland Council Graeme Miller because of his comments towards Boris Johnson’s handling of this pandemic.

Tony said Graeme was wrong to criticise Boris Johnson’s handling of the pandemic.

Well I personally thought Graeme was too kind in his comments and this is shown in the statistics for all to see, not just in his handling of this pandemic, but his handling of the economy which is the worst in Europe.

As I write this there're more than 1,000 British citizens dying every day that's more per day than Australia has in total.

Boris Johnson’s eat out to help out scheme and his get back to school policy have been well documented and have, in my opinion, led to unnecessary deaths.

I could go on about the billions of pounds that have been spent on the promised world class track test and trace system that still hasn't materialised.

Also as I write, the airports and ferry terminals still remain open for people to come and go willy nilly.

Tony said leave Boris alone; he's not a child, he's the leader of the country during a pandemic.

If you are not angry with the handling of this pandemic you are not paying attention.
