‘A steak pie and a Bovril’ - fans’ recall matchdays
We all miss matchdays the way they used to be – the pregame buzz, the atmosphere inside the ground and postmatch chatter with family and friends.
Hopefully those days will return soon, and fans will be allowed back to the Stadium of Light.
We’ve been asking Sunderland fans what their favourite parts of matchdays were, with many of you quick to get in touch and share your experiences and routines.
From meeting the players in the fan zone to sitting in the ground with a pre-match coffee, here are some of the responses we received...
