Don’t forget!

-

Sir Keir Starmer continues his attacks on the Government over Covid-19, now over the rate of vaccinations being carried out.

I bet he is hoping people will forget his potentially disastrous plans for the pharmaceutical industries.

There are plenty of Labour Party policies that have not stood the test of time over the years.

However, there can be very few that have proved so spectacularly wrong as its plan to break up the big pharmaceuticals, strip them of patent protection and nationalise half the industry.

Sir Keir can huff and puff and criticise the vaccine roll out as much as he likes but his policy would have caused untold damage.

Remember he said the very people who have developed the Covid vaccine "don't innovate" and "put profits before people".

Not satisfied with that,

Labour also criticised the UK for not joining the EU's coronavirus vaccine scheme.

Yes that is the EU that was painfully slow off the mark.

It's great to see the UK has beaten all the EU countries in the number of people vaccinated.

At the time of writing

3.3 million have been administered in the United Kingdom.

Sir Keir is also vocal over using pharmacies to give vaccines.

Again at the time of writing, high street pharmacies are already doing that with a huge number more queuing to join in.

However the number that can do this will be governed by the rate of production of the vaccines.

I hope Sir Keir remembers, this but I don't hold out much hope.
