Police hunt car thief

Officers are appealing for information to trace a man after a car was stolen from a Sunderland home.

Northumbria Police are investigating a break-in at an addressoffPearethGrove,Sunderland, between midnight and 12.30pm on December 14, after an offender stole a set of car keys from inside the unoccupied property and made off in a vehicle which was parked in the garage.

Officers have identified a man they would like to speak to in connection with the burglary and are appealing for any information.

An investigation was launched immediately after the incident with detectives carrying out inquiries.
