I am researching my family ancestry and am hoping readers can help with more information.

My father James Butler was born 23-09-1919, at 8 Zetland Street, Sunderland, his parents were John, Margaret ( urphy) Butler.

My grandparents

John Butler, DOB 12 081892, Mulgrave Street, Monkwearmouth. Margaret (Murphy) Butler DOB 11-021894 Southwick.

My great grand parents, James Butler (Ellen Gallagher), Butler/James DOB 5-08-1863, Whiteburn Street, Monkwearmouth. Ellen (Gallagher) Butler,

DOB around 1864, Monkwearmouth.

My great great grandparents. Michael Butler, Whiteburn Street, Monkwearmouth, Ann (Martin) Butler.

My great grandparents James and Ellen Butler, had 13 children, in the 1911 census,Michael, James,

Annie, Patrick, John, Thomas. Matthew. Robert, Bridget, Ellen, Mary, George and Rose.

When I was in Sunderland in 2019 I tried different parishes but to no avail.

My grandparents

John, Margaret Butler, are buried Mere Knoll Cemetery, Sunderland.
