Five more patients sadly die at NHS trust
A further two corona virus related deaths have been recorded at Sunderland’ s NHS hospital trust, bringing the total deaths to 811.
NHS England confirmed yesterday that a further 630 people, who tested positive for the coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 74,249.
Patients were aged between 7 and 102 years old. All except 30 (aged 40 to 99 years old) had known underlying health conditions.
Deaths are recorded as Covid-19 related where a person has died within 28 days of a positive test.
Across the UK on Wednesday, it was announced that 19,202 more people have tested positive for coronavirus, bringing the total since the start of the pandemic to 3,871,825.
