We meet talented Shannon, the human chameleon!
A Sunderland supermarket worker with a passion for make-up has been sharing her marvellous creations – with her newest look having been seen by almost 100,000 people in less than 24 hours.
For as long as Shannon Farrer can remember she has loved make-up and has gone from stealing her mam’s lipstick to turning herself into out-of-this-world creations at the stroke of a brush.
Now, a TikTok video of the 22-year-old transforming herself into Harley
Quinn has been seen by 92,000 people on the platform in just 24 hours.
Shannon, who works at Aldi, said: “The response has been amazing!
"It’s had nearly 100,000 views already, 22,100 likes and it was only posted one day ago, it really is crazy to me.
"Never in a million years did I think I would get this much response just from doing something I love.
"Hopefully this is just the start I have so much more to offer and show.
"I’m just so grateful to have such an amazing response!”
From a superhero NHS nurse to a skull mountain, Shannon has been sharing her magnificent make-up looks on social media and hopes one day she will work in the TV and film industry.
"I’ve been passionate about make-up since I was about two-years-old,” said Shannon, who lives in Thorney Close.
"I used to steal my mam’s make-up and take it to primary school.
"I’d put it on in the toilets and think that no one would notice – obviously that wasn’t the case.
"I work at Aldi at the moment – so it’s two very different worlds.
"I want to work in makeup in the film industry, but that’s something very hard to break into.
"I’ve had a great response – I only made my Instagram page just over a year ago after my friends suggested it.
"I think my favourite look is ‘Skull Mountain’. I had moss all over my head and it was the biggest challenge – I was trying to transform myself into something else.
"It’s not something I’ve ever trained in, but a passion that I’d had and built for years.
"I find inspiration for the looks all over and I just want to try everything.”
