Optimism

Like most people I think I’m a glass half full type of bloke.

Boris Johnson is using his optimism as an excuse to open up the country to a possibility of the virus again.

I use the word again because as we all remember the last two times it all ended, as predicted by SAGE, in tears and even more deaths, with his determination to open up for Christmas; that's why we are where we are now.

He thinks everyone has forgotten the eat out to help out scheme, and not forgetting his sending the kids back to school too early.

Now Boris Johnson and some of ministers are using their fake concerns over mental health as another excuse to open up again.

We all know mental health is a big problem in our country especially as we have had over 10 years of mental health funding cut to the bone by this Tory government.

The pandemic has exacerbated the mental health issues but the Tory cut-backs started it.
