Bluff and bluster

-

I must admit Alan Wright's letters always have a way of cheering me up, none more so than the one when he had me writing on the behalf of Kier Starmer and Labour Party, when I've always made it clear I'm not a member of any political party and very unlikely to ever want to be.

I’ve always believed in right and wrong, not right and left and I personally find Kier Starmer a very poor leader.

But compared to Boris Johnson he's a giant.

I made a point of saying Boris Johnson is failing this country miserably, and over 1,000 people dying daily and over 100,000 dead and rising is enough evidence to any thoughtful person.

I also said New Zealand is open for business, adults back at work, kids back at school and going to pop festivals, and that's without a vaccine, all because they,

along with other countries like Vietnam, who have a bigger and more dense a population than Britain by the way, addressed the pandemic with great leadership and thoughtfulness unlike Boris Johnson.

Sadly this country has too many people who can't look beyond his bluff and bluster.
