-

Echo readers have had their say on the Oprah Winfrey TV interview and all the revelations it raised.

We asked Echo online readers which they had more sympathy for–Harry and Meghan, or the Royal Family?'

Charlotte Jane Stüc k-James said: “I’m not a royalist or a monarchist but, in this case, I have great sympathy with the Queen and Prince Philip.

"These two are just fame and fortune hunters.”

Jayne Mahgagahbow commented: "She's a woman scorned.

"She hates the royal established yet is riled her son isn't a prince.”

Deborah Gill added :“If Harry was so against his up bringing and the Royal Family, why didn’t he resign from his royal duties before ever meeting and marrying Meghan?”

Tanya Donnelly added: “No sympathy for those two.”

Liz Anderson said: “She’s a actress I don’t believe she was suicidal. She knows exactly what she wants and she’s pulling the bully and racism card out.

But Tracy Beaton said: "I’ve always had sympathy for them. Why shouldn’t they defend themselves. The media has been relentless towards the hatred for them.”

Chloe Walker said: “Harry and Meghan all the way. She felt suicidal and had no mental health support. She would have felt incredibly isolated.”

Christine Heslop added: “My sympathy is with the Queen.”

Liz Burton said: “She's an actress they wanted out of the limelight so why go on Oprah if you want out of the limelight?”

Mary Beaton added: “They demanded privacy therefore I will give them their privacy by not watching it."

Maryanne Brett said: “She knew what she was going into .”
