With the lights out for more than a year at the Sunderland Empire it’s been a huge miss in the city.

But there isn’t long to wait until the “West End of the North” reopens its doors once more.

Although the exact re opening details haven’ t been announced yet, there’ s a host of shows lined up for 2021. Here’s what you can look forward to:
