SG PETCH REINVIGORATES OLD MORRISONS SITE, OPENING NEW MAZDA AND KIA DEALERSHIP
The renowned family run car dealer has given the Castletown site a huge overhaul as there new Sunderland premises.
Sam Petch, Sales and Marketing Director, spoke with us about the excitement and buzz from representing the Kia and Mazda brands in Sunderland.
“We’ve worked closely with Mazda and Kia for over 20 years and have had a great long term partnership with them, so when the opportunity arose to represent them in Sunderland it wasn’t that difficult of a decision.”
“We already have several other dealerships in the north east who have been built on great relationships with clients and exceptional customer service which we are keen to replicate in Sunderland. It’s especially great that we can take the old Morrisons site and change it from the eyesore the community felt it had become.”
SG Petch have been eagerly waiting for the site after putting forward ideas for it in 2019, and then hoping to open in 2020. This was then delayed due to the pandemic at which point they could have ended the project.
Instead SG Petch saw value in Sunderland and chose to continue with the development bringing it to fruition in September 2020.
